Summary

A luxury real estate developer wanted vivid, realistic videos to market its smart apartment complexes and explain how their IoT features work. INNERLUXES's 3D designers created four highly realistic animated clips, each about two minutes long, built from the actual building blueprints and scripted around original scenarios that showcase automated parking, biometric access, and smart-home control. The four animations were delivered in two months and the Client plans to reuse them as in-app tutorials.

About the Client

The Client is a Lebanese real estate company that sells smart apartment complexes featuring IoT-based home control systems, automated parking lots, and biometric locks.

Marketing Needed to Show How the Smart Home Works

The Client's marketing department needed catchy, illustrative advertising that would show their smart home system design and explain how the various IoT solutions work in their apartment complexes. They wanted the messages in the form of realistic animated videos, and turned to INNERLUXES for help.

Four Realistic 3D Animations Built From the Real Blueprints

Using complex animation software, INNERLUXES's team of 3D designers created four highly realistic 3D animated video clips from scratch, each about two minutes long, with all building layouts based on the actual blueprints of the Client's apartment complexes. Drawing on experience in IoT projects, the team also wrote four original scenarios, each highlighting a different advantage of the smart home system:

  • Automated parking — a resident arrives at the parking lot and an elevator automatically transports their car to its place on the top floor.
  • Biometric building access — a resident enters the building using secure biometric sensors.
  • Biometric apartment access — the resident then enters their apartment, again through biometric sensors.
  • Leaving home — as the owner leaves, a smart-home control device switches the apartment to "sleep mode" and calls for their car to be moved down from the top parking floor to the driveway.

For faster progress and easier communication, the team showed the Client key still frames before rendering the full videos; once the Client approved the scenario and design in the still frames, the team proceeded to rendering.

Four Animations Delivered and Ready to Reuse

  • After two months of work, INNERLUXES completed all four animations, leaving the Client completely satisfied.
  • The Client plans to use the videos not only for marketing campaigns but also as tutorial content within their mobile and web apps.
