The Client is a leading provider of local search and direction solutions. Alongside that core business, it offers a range of products from websites for small and medium enterprises and high-quality data for direct marketing to special-interest products and search-engine-marketing services. The company has around 75,000 customers and roughly 580 employees.

A Directory Leader Needed a Mobile App to Grow Its Market Share

To strengthen its position in a competitive business-directory market, the Client needed to increase its market share. With mobile usage growing steadily, it set out to attract new customers and raise the satisfaction of existing ones by offering its main services through a mobile app. The Client engaged INNERLUXES to build an application that would give users business information about companies, including route directions to their locations.

A Cross-Platform Directory App With GPS Directions and One-Tap Contact

INNERLUXES created an app with intuitive navigation that lets users find detailed information about companies across many business domains, as well as people's home addresses and telephone numbers. To locate the right company, users can set criteria such as city, zip code, name, business area, or services. For each company, the app shows:

• Company name, business area, and address, with the option to display the address on a map.
• Telephone number — tapping it places a call.
• Web address and email.
• Rating and reviews.
• Description, products, opening hours, and other useful information.

Using GPS, the device detects the user's location to surface nearby companies and provide detailed route directions to the chosen one. The app also lets users share contact information by email, SMS, and social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

Mobile Access to 3 Million Numbers and 300,000+ Companies

INNERLUXES delivered a practical application that gives mobile access to more than three million telephone numbers, including the contact information of over 300,000 companies. The solution made the Client's services more convenient, helping it broaden its customer base and raise the satisfaction of existing customers on mobile devices. The app was published to Google Play and the App Store, where it received a broad response from users.
