Opera PMS Integration to Streamline Hotel Bookings
Project Solution
Enable end-users to efficiently complete hotel bookings and reservations, ultimately growing the Client's revenue base and expanding its reach in growing markets to gain a competitive edge. Opera PMS enables revenue optimization and centralized reporting for data-driven property performance evaluation.
The Client
The Client is a travel & leisure company operating a portfolio of destination hotels across Europe and the U.S., working to provide guests unique experiences while focusing on sustainability.
The Approach
INNERLUXES was tasked with streamlining the Client's hotel reservation and booking platform to provide end-users with a more efficient, intuitive experience. INNERLUXES's software experts used the Micros Opera API, SynXis HTML, SynXis API, and Micros Opera PMS. The PMS program accurately authenticates and authorizes end-users and seamlessly implements payment options for customer convenience.
INNERLUXES developed a class library to render hotel URLs and retrieve room rates and room types using screen scraping through SynXis CRS, and created a centralized API to streamline multiple query requests.
The Impact
Opera remains a property management system (PMS) benchmark for its versatility — enabling efficient reservations, inventory management, and accounting. Its easy configuration and scalability meet the requirements of individual properties and can operate in single-property or multi-property mode with no change in features or performance.
- Property managers gained unique insight into total revenue generated, market segment, and guest experiences.
- Centralized reporting enabled accurate property and staff performance evaluation.
- Data-driven insights facilitate personalized marketing campaigns that promote repeat guest check-ins and revenue optimization.
- A more efficient, intuitive booking experience for end-users, supporting reach into growing markets.
