What Is Weather Vibes?
Weather Vibes is one of our SharePoint add-ins that gives your team a clean, real-time weather snapshot for any location they choose — right on your SharePoint intranet page. No switching tabs, no extra apps, no guesswork before a business trip. It’s part of our wider Microsoft work across SharePoint and Microsoft 365 and our ready-to-deploy SharePoint solutions.
- Set one location and see temperature, wind speed, humidity, and visibility at a glance.
- Add multiple locations and compare current, maximum, and minimum temperatures side by side.
- Track up to 10 locations, save them as private or public, and get smart city suggestions as you type.
How to Get the Add-In
You can download Weather Vibes directly from the Microsoft Office Store. Search for “Weather Vibes” and install it following the standard SharePoint add-in installation steps — it takes under a minute.
How to Configure the Add-In
Setting up Weather Vibes takes just a minute. Click the gear icon in the title bar to open settings, then follow these steps.
Step 1 — Temperature unit
Pick your preferred temperature unit — Celsius or Fahrenheit — right from the title bar. The whole add-in updates instantly.
Step 2 — Add locations
One default location (New York, USA) comes pre-loaded. Hit New Location whenever you want to add more — you can track up to 10.
Step 3 — Enter city details
Type in a city name and, optionally, a country. If the country is left blank or entered incorrectly, the app figures it out. No weather data available? That entry simply won’t display.
Step 4 — Public vs. Private
Want certain locations visible only to you? Uncheck the Public box to switch that location to Private view. Public locations are visible to the whole team.
Step 5 — Google API key
Have your own Google API key? Add it here to unlock smart city suggestions. Nothing you enter in settings is ever sent back to INNERLUXES — your key stays on your SharePoint site only.
Step 6 — Save and go
Hit Save and you’re done. Weather Vibes is now live on your SharePoint page, ready for your whole team.
